(STEP 5 of 6)

Now that you have narrowed your search results to a few million, where do you begin? Google search will try to put the "best matches" at the beginning so you can usually find something at the "top" of the list - but there are a couple of helpful tips to know before clicking on a result.

FIRST, some searches will include advertisements or "sponsored links" that someone PAID Google to get to the top of the list. In many cases, these are not the best links but are designed to LOOk like the results you wanted....

These advertisments are fairly easy to spot as they will all have "Sponsored by" at the bottom of the link description.

Your REAL results, and the place to start is below the thin line. All the links after that are going to be closer to the results you were looking for.

The SECOND helpful tip you should know is that not ALL the results will be on the results page even when you scroll down to the end.

When you DO scroll to the end you will see:

If there is nothing on the first page of results, you can click on "Next" to see yet another page full of results.

For now, click on the "Next Page" button to continue.
